The Card that started it all

I thought I'd share this card with you all, this is that handmade card I received (for Ella's birth) that got me into card making, I found it the other day while tidying up a box Charlotte had emptied out.

Funky Friday #30

This is my card for this week's challenge, I didn't like this challenge at all, I just couldn't find the right stamp set to go with the colour's, it was probably worse as I had to rush it as I'm on holiday right now, Abi was nice and gave me the colour's early so I could join in, The colours are Lavender Lace, Elegant Eggplant, Summer Sun and Whisper white.

Funky Friday #28

Yet again I struggled with this challenge, I could think of how to use 4 of the colours easily but struggled to find how to use the final colour,I really wanted to use the Big Bold Birthday stamp set from Stampin' Up! as I've had it for a while now and needed to justify buying it, lol.

I used Pretty in pink and whisper white card, old olive dsp from the holiday treasures pack, pretty in pink 1/2" striped Grosgrain ribbon, old olive, creamy caramel, pretty in pink and Rose red ink, Tombow glue and dazzling diamonds.
