Team Challenge

This weeks challenge was to make a card with only Stampin' around wheels, and a sentiment stamp, Thank's to Kathy for setting this weeks challenge, I really enjoyed it.

I made this card for my Daughter, she is a book a holic (I think that's what you call someone who read's all day and night), she quickly removed the book mark and stuck it in her book.

I used Lavender lace, almost amethyst, barely banana and whisper white card, So saffron ribbon, Versamark ink heat and stick powder and Stampin' Up!'s Silver glitter, these glitters really have to be seen to be appreciated Photo's never do them justice.

The Stamp I used was from Occasional Greetings and the wheel is called Forever flower's.

Honey they've shrunk the chickens

Is it my imagination or are large rotiserie chicken's getting smaller?

There was a time when 1 was enough to feed my whole family and there would be some left for the cats but now we need 2 and the cats are lucky if there's any left for them, now I know my family has grown but tell me if you think I'm wrong, I've photoed them next to some parsnip which frighteningly are almost as big as the chickens lol.

Team challenge#2

O.K Abi asked me to set the team challenge this week, I had a little think it's not easy setting a challenge especially as it's a limited time challenge and I'm not the fastest crafter, I decided it should be alternative christmas so a christmas with out the traditional colours of Red, Green or Gold.

I should have matched the swirls up but didn't think about that when I was making it, I'll know better for next time.

I used Acetate basic black and whisper white card, black and white stazon versamark and heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds and Black glitter from fine galaxy glitter pack you really have to see these glitters irl they are stunning, the stamp set I used was season of joy, I love this set it's my favourite christmas set from last years Stampin' Up! catalogue I was so glad when it wasn't retired, also it was the first set I got to play with when my stampin mum came the 2 hour drive to my house to do a party for me =D, Almost forgot I used a light box and embossing tool to emboss the edge of the Black and white card.

I hope this is keeping within the challenge guideline's I decided it would be a card for my sister's birthday which is tomorrow I'll have to email her a link.
